The article investigates the detrimental effect of nonuniform and uniform crack distributions over a solar cell in terms open-circuit voltage ( ${{\bm{V}}_{{{\bf oc}}}}$ ), short-circuit current density notation="LaTeX">${{\bm{J}}_{{{\bf sc}}}}$ output power, latter under wide range irradiance conditions. experimental procedure to detect cracks relies on electroluminescence (EL) imaging, which is nondestructive requires relatively low amount time. Griddler software adopted translate EL-taken image into maps. main findings can be summarized as follows: nonuniformly uniformly cracked cells are both jeopardized power; loss corresponding with distribution increasingly higher than counterpart hitting grows; all affected by severely damaged fingers rear busbar, concur limit maximum current.
